What is jitter clicking?
Jitter clicking uses small, rapid hand and forearm movements to press the mouse button repeatedly. The movement can make the pointer harder to keep still.
How to try it
- Place the pointer inside the pad and keep the mouse steady.
- Use small movements to make separate button presses. Keep the movement comfortable; stop if it hurts.
- Use the same timer for your normal-click baseline and jitter run. Look at the last pace bar as well as the first.
What is a typical score?
We do not have a reliable typical range for this preset. A number from a different timer, mouse or game is not a fair target. Start with your own repeatable score at the same settings; the result keeps your best on this browser.
A burst at the beginning can lift the peak second without improving your full-run CPS. Check whether the pace holds up and whether the gaps become less even.
Check the inputs before chasing a number
A browser cannot identify muscle movement or tell whether jitter caused an event. This preset labels your practice; it does not certify the technique.
A fast pair of events can be deliberate or unintended. Inspect separate presses and their intervals if the count surprises you. Double-click switches and debounce settings can change the recorded count; the test cannot diagnose their cause.
Check the rules of the game or server you play on before using a technique there. A CPS score does not tell you what that game allows. Stop if clicking feels uncomfortable.
Compare with your normal click
Set a normal-click baseline with the same timer, then return to this preset. Your result compares the full-run score, peak second and spacing where a baseline exists. See how those numbers are calculated.
