Apex Legends eDPI calculator

Type your mouse DPI and your Apex Legends sensitivity. Your eDPI, and whether it is low, medium or high for Apex Legends, update as you type.

2,400 eDPI

800 DPI × 3 = 2,400 eDPI

Medium for Apex Legends. A middle amount of mouse movement per turn, between the long sweeps of a low setting and the small flicks of a high one.

No download, no account: it runs in your browser, Chromebooks included.

Same eDPI at a new DPI

At 1,600 DPI, set Apex Legends to 1.5 to keep 2,400 eDPI.

Rounded to 2 decimal places. With the same eDPI in the same game, each inch of mouse movement turns the view the same amount.

Low, medium and high eDPI in Apex Legends

eDPI bands for Apex Legends
BandeDPIWhat it means
Lowbelow 2,000Each turn takes a long mouse movement: fine aim is steadier, spinning around is slower.
Medium2,000 to 2,800A middle amount of mouse movement per turn, between the long sweeps of a low setting and the small flicks of a high one.
High2,800 and aboveSmall movements turn the view a long way: quick turns from the wrist, but small corrections are harder to keep steady.

EA's Apex Legends help says there is no official definition of low, medium or high mouse sensitivity. It suggests 0.5 to 2.5 as low, 2.5 to 3.5 as medium and 3.5 to 5 as high for the Mouse Sensitivity setting, without naming a DPI. The bands above are those ranges at 800 DPI, a common DPI EA mentions, turned into eDPI so they hold at any DPI.

Where to find your Apex Legends sensitivity

In Apex Legends, open Settings and the Mouse/Keyboard tab. The number to enter is Mouse Sensitivity.

The ADS Mouse Sensitivity Multiplier applies only while aiming down sights, so it is not part of eDPI.

An eDPI in one game cannot be compared with an eDPI in another: each game turns the view by its own angle for every mouse count. The eDPI calculator converts turn distance only where the developer publishes that angle.
