Site measurements

Plausible counts page visits and actions such as finished tests and downloaded results. It receives the clean page address, an allowed test name and the referring page supplied by your browser. An incoming referrer can contain parts of the previous site’s address; links within CPS King send only the site origin as a referrer.

Google Analytics receives cookieless page and test-use requests with analytics and advertising storage denied by default. We send the clean page address and allowed test name, with no referring-page value. Scores, typed text, counter names and saved runs are not sent to either service.

What stays on your browser

Recent scores, personal bests, named counters and spacebar-game progress use browser storage. Typed practice text and click traces are processed on your device. No account or upload is needed.

Clearing this site’s browser storage removes saved results and game progress. Private browsing or blocked storage may prevent saving; the tests still work.

Sharing and other sites

Copying a score places text on your clipboard. Downloading a result saves a file on your device. CPS King does not post a score for you. Fonts are hosted with the site.

The pages linked from our methodology have their own privacy practices. Hosting providers may receive connection information when serving the site.

Contact and removal

The contact form is not accepting messages yet. No contact fields or challenge service load while delivery is unavailable. You can erase local results in your browser’s site-data settings.
