A word is a five-character unit, including spaces. Gross WPM counts your final text. Correct WPM counts only characters in the right position. Text accuracy is correct characters divided by typed characters.
Type 150 characters in 30 seconds, with 135 correct, and the result is 60 gross WPM, 54 correct WPM and 90% text accuracy. Corrections are shown separately, so a clean final text does not hide the backspacing.

Give missed words another go
Finish a run, then choose Practice these words. The next set uses the words you missed during that run, including mistakes you corrected. Practice scores stay separate from fresh-word scores.
