Overwatch 2 eDPI calculator

Type your mouse DPI and your Overwatch 2 sensitivity. Your eDPI, and whether it is low, medium or high for Overwatch 2, update as you type.

4,000 eDPI

800 DPI × 5 = 4,000 eDPI

Medium for Overwatch 2. A middle amount of mouse movement per turn, between the long sweeps of a low setting and the small flicks of a high one.

No download, no account: it runs in your browser, Chromebooks included.

Same eDPI at a new DPI

At 1,600 DPI, set Overwatch 2 to 2.5 to keep 4,000 eDPI.

Rounded to 2 decimal places. With the same eDPI in the same game, each inch of mouse movement turns the view the same amount.

eDPI bands for Overwatch 2
BandeDPIWhat it means
Lowbelow 2,500Each turn takes a long mouse movement: fine aim is steadier, spinning around is slower.
Medium2,500 to 5,000A middle amount of mouse movement per turn, between the long sweeps of a low setting and the small flicks of a high one.
High5,000 and aboveSmall movements turn the view a long way: quick turns from the wrist, but small corrections are harder to keep steady.

These bands are our own guide to Overwatch 2's sensitivity scale, not an official rating and not a target. The right setting is the one you aim well with.

Where to find your Overwatch 2 sensitivity

In Overwatch 2, open Options, then Controls, and look under Mouse in the General settings that apply to every hero. The number to enter is Sensitivity.

A sensitivity set for one hero, and the zoomed aim setting of scoped heroes, apply only to that hero or while zoomed, so they are not part of this eDPI.

An eDPI in one game cannot be compared with an eDPI in another: each game turns the view by its own angle for every mouse count. The eDPI calculator converts turn distance only where the developer publishes that angle.
