Reaction time test
Wait for the cue. React with a click, tap or Space.
Your device and browser add delay to the result.
Your run
Why the median?
Your median is the middle attempt after sorting the times. One slow response can pull the average up much more than the median. Keep both, and look at the full set before chasing your fastest attempt.
A set of 210, 225, 240, 260 and 415 ms has a median of 240 ms and an average of 270 ms. These are example values, not a target or an average for other players.
Try a repeatable reaction-practice routine using the same setup.
Choose your cue
Start lights turn on in sequence, then go out after a changing wait. React when they go out. A jump start does not count as a completed attempt. This start-light game has no Formula 1 affiliation.
Sound mode needs a sound check first. React to the beep. The on-screen GO is a fallback if you cannot hear it. Output-device delay is included, so compare sound runs with sound runs on the same setup.
Try 2D target practice when you want to add pointer movement. See what the reaction clock includes.
