CS2 eDPI calculator

Type your mouse DPI and your Counter-Strike 2 sensitivity. Your eDPI, and whether it is low, medium or high for Counter-Strike 2, update as you type.

880 eDPI

800 DPI × 1.1 = 880 eDPI

Medium for Counter-Strike 2. A middle amount of mouse movement per turn, between the long sweeps of a low setting and the small flicks of a high one.

No download, no account: it runs in your browser, Chromebooks included.

Same eDPI at a new DPI

At 1,600 DPI, set Counter-Strike 2 to 0.55 to keep 880 eDPI.

Rounded to 3 decimal places. With the same eDPI in the same game, each inch of mouse movement turns the view the same amount.

eDPI bands for Counter-Strike 2
BandeDPIWhat it means
Lowbelow 600Each turn takes a long mouse movement: fine aim is steadier, spinning around is slower.
Medium600 to 1,200A middle amount of mouse movement per turn, between the long sweeps of a low setting and the small flicks of a high one.
High1,200 and aboveSmall movements turn the view a long way: quick turns from the wrist, but small corrections are harder to keep steady.

These bands are our own guide to Counter-Strike 2's sensitivity scale, not an official rating and not a target. The right setting is the one you aim well with.

Where to find your Counter-Strike 2 sensitivity

In Counter-Strike 2, open Settings, then Keyboard / Mouse. The number to enter is Mouse Sensitivity; typing sensitivity in the console shows the same value.

The Zoom Sensitivity Multiplier applies only while you are scoped in, so it is not part of eDPI.

An eDPI in one game cannot be compared with an eDPI in another: each game turns the view by its own angle for every mouse count. The eDPI calculator converts turn distance only where the developer publishes that angle.
