Test your typing speed and see every error
Type the words as they appear. Your first character starts the timer.
Spaces count. You can correct mistakes. Pasting does not count as typing. Text typed with an input method (IME) counts once you confirm it.
English words, or your own text.

No download, no account: it runs in your browser, Chromebooks included.
Speed with the mistakes included
A word is a five-character unit, including spaces. Gross WPM counts your final text. Correct WPM counts only characters in the right position. Text accuracy is correct characters divided by typed characters.
For example, if you type 150 characters in 30 seconds, with 135 correct, the result is 60 gross WPM, 54 correct WPM and 90% text accuracy. Corrections are shown separately, so a clean final text does not hide the backspacing.
Give missed words another go
Finish a run, then choose Practice missed words. The next set uses the words you missed during that run, including mistakes you corrected. Practice scores stay separate from fresh-word scores.

Code basics uses original CPS King snippets with braces, punctuation and line breaks. The snippets are typing prompts, not a programming course. They are never executed.
Everyday sentences come with capitals and punctuation. The word lists have none: choose Capitals, punctuation and numbers for a harder set, or paste your own text. Runs go up to 10 minutes. There is no certificate. Phone keyboards, suggestions and physical keys create different input conditions; keep the same setup when comparing runs. See the WPM formula and error rules. To check repeat events, use the keyboard chatter test. For a score-and-combo loop, play the typing game. For a break from typing, try the reaction time test.
